Well...Pairachoppers, Crappie Hunter and I made it out on the boat this weekend targeting crappies on Saturday. Spectacular day but the but only a few Crappies on this lake. Lot's of Sunnies. Crappiehunter and Pairachoppers also caught a couple of nice fish on Crappie Jigs. I assume that they are Crappies since they hit Crappie Jigs...right?

Crappie Hunter and I hit another metro lake from the shore on Sunday and the Crappie bite was HOT! I had to leave early with 7 keepers and Crappiehunter stayed until he had his limit of keepers. They were in about 5 FOW with the slip bobbers set at about 2 1/2 feet. Go get em...the bite should remain hot in the metro for the next 3 - 4 weeks.

Woodpat,

Yep...Glastron 205 Ski and Fish. Serves me well for both family duties and fishing although she goes fishing 90% of the time. It has already been referred to as the "Living Room" on LSF but I assure you that the living room has hosted some trophies in her day. As long as it floats, it is a fishing boat for me.

Some of use like to fish in comfort, your seat design gave it away I have the same boat. Love it! Upgraded the locator to a 520c and put the other unit on my trolling motor, When the misses is not tanning on the hood i ussually set up in back and troll with a remote control unit, so she can fish up front. Nice boat!!

Well...the warden did stop by when Crappiehunter caught the second "Crappie" but we explained that we did not catch the bass and that it was our pet. We simply explained that we take her along to give her a little open water swimming and that she is trained to return to the boat when we whistle for her. The warden could not believe this so we offered to demonstrate. His curiosity got the best of him and he asked us to demonstrate. We simply pitched her in the water, whistled and drove away.
