Is anyone going to continue to upland hunt when rifle season is open? I've never felt safe bringing my dog but i've spoken to others who haven't thought twice

I'd get a blaze orange vest for the pooch to be on the safe side, no reason why you shouldn't be able to upland hunt, public land belongs to ALL of us.

I don't do it myself just because there are so many people out there and the dog covers so much ground you're gonna come across someone in their stand or sitting on a stump and you never know what they'll do. I took my dog out today and we got 4 grouse so now he'll get a 2 week rest before we hit the woods again.
