HOLY COW it is warm up here.... Please send us some cooler temps soon.... Geese are dying at a record pace this fall and the grouse opener is this Saturday. They are telling us the numbers are up, but we will soon see how accurate the drumming count is... As for fishing, the bite is above average to good. Sling shot rig tipped with a crawler and the minnow bite on a fireball jig are the ticket. Any where from 14-19 fow seems to be the zone and pay really close attention to your depth finder. On the main lake the pods of fish are out there and they are active, but locate them with electronics then drop the hardware over the boat to get them... Good luck and stay safe...
