Here on the river we never have a closed season and they have major tournies out of Red Wing every spring. The fish ride all day in the livewell and then are handeld to be wieghed and admired, then put in a shute and sent back int athe water.
Now there is somthing to get your panties in a wad about.
Nice fish kid, keep them pics coming.

.....And the hits just keep on coming. Look guys, you know what my point is here, there's a difference between the Rainy River and the creek behind your house.

I don't agree with throwing a shiner in the Ottertail River on May 1st only to tell everybody I'm fishing for carp while I'm pulling in beautiful eye's, throwing them on shore, telling my buddy to get the camera out, making sure the pics look good, and then releasing the fish. It's as simple as that, and as difficult as that, make it what you want.

-2 FishTrap. For not thinking about the Rainy River. So far I've birdied and eagled. Not a bad day on the course.

FishTrap- I am really not sure what you have against this kid. He said that he was fishing for carp with corn. As he has posted in the past he fishes for carp often. Give him a break. He is doing nothing illegal.

Fishtrap, not digging at you.I hate having a tourney every weekend on my home waters and 100's of pre spawn eyes being drug around all day and spewing eggs into the wells.

if i do recall there was already a tread for walleye but any way here's a few of my 2009 best.. nothing to spectacular..

im no "pro" by far and wont bash any one's accomplishments.. but i do feel that i know what im doing.. with that being said, i too while fishing my favorite body of water see some foul stuff going on, but my way of thinking is to "reach one teach one " not to bash them cause it does no good. if i make a friend he or she might take the giving advice, learn and understand.

"fyi" all fish were cpr"ed lol....... oh yea very nice fish yall keep the pics coming

i would like to see you guys catch a walleye by yourself FROM shore. and try and take a picture. its nearly impossible to keep grass off the fish.

i am not going to argue any further on the subject. as i was not breaking the law for wanting a picture.

now back to the original topic, ben those are some awesome walleyes!

that big one through the ice is a true beauty!

lou, those are some beauties too! did you get them out of rivers?
