I was out on the west side for the whole day yesterday and between 2 guys and 3 spots we caught 3 eyes with only one being 13" the others were 8",and 10". about 10 little perch (under 8") and 6 little tulibee. THE DEAD SEA!

we just got back home and our mille lacs trip was bad. jan.7 we caught 10-15 little pearch and a small walleye. jan 8 SKUNKED. jan 9 we went to gull lake SKUNKED. every day we saw dozens of fish on the camera but they would NOT bite. they would just swim up and look at your jig and some woul even bump it with thier nose, alot of lookers but no takers. we moved and moved and moved dozens of times over the 3 days but i guess when they dont want to bite they just dont want to bite. im no pro but i think its because of the darn cold weather were having.

We went out of Rocky Reef Sat set up off of the gravel in 26' of water and had pretty consistent action until 6pm.A lot of little ones, between 2 of us we were able to get 6 eaters. They are really helpful at Rocky Reef resort, pointed out areas to try and told us to call if we had any troubles at all.We will definitely go back again

We were out there as well, but didn't do good at all. The resort owner is a great, down to earth guy that actually appreciates your business and wants ya to come back.

The perch are almost always active in March. I have been a part of several days where 3 of us limited out. It can still take some work to find them, but when you are on them, they usually hammer it.
