Most lakes have some worms in the tullies, some worse than others. If there is only a few (1-5 or 6) we don't worry about it. The smoker or brine takes care of them. If you want to get them out, the easy way to do it is soak them in water in the fridge for a day or two. The worms swell up and are easy to get out then. If the fish is just loaded with them... the cats need to eat too!
