It started out with a light mist this morning and by the time the Bruce Duo came up it was a light rain. We gathered up our gear and headed out to see if we could get into some crappies. The day started around 10:30am. and we started catching right away. The started to come down a little hard and it seemed that to crappies were more active during these periods of rain.

We were using twister tails(pink and white or orange and white) with a minnow.Water temp was 54 degrees and most fish today came out of 6FOW. We landed up with 50 crappies 30 sunfish,4 perch, and 3 bass. All crappies were in the 10-13 inch range and most were males. Thanks for coming up guy's, it was a blast again and your welcome to come up anytime.

Way to go sniffer and Bruce duo. Crappies and rain, sounds good to me. That was a cold sucky rain but it's good to see you all dialed in on em.

It did suck but the rewards were well worth it. I think I could take the rain, but the wind is what made it tough on the hands.
