Did some early afternoon pan fishing on Tonka @ Grays Bay today out in the hole about 18 ft.. Had some luck with some bluegills and some accidental pike.. The next move after this weather passes through is Wayzata Bay for some eyes.

my friend and i were out on grays bay on lake minnetonka on thursday december 30th. we use medium suckers and crappie minnows from wayzata bait and tackle. we got out there at 12:30 and left at 5:00. we used 2 tips ups and 2 rods for jigging. I caught a crappie, and my friend caught a pike and 1 sunnie and 1 crappie. fishing was slow and very slushy. And there was about an inch of water on the ice where we were fishing. Tomaro we are heading to christmas lake in excelsior. to fish for rainbow trouts. does any one know of good spots in the lake and what type of bait to use. and what time we should get out there. we hope we have good luck. thanks , haysfisher1
