Hey all,

I am pondering the idea of fishing the hardwater classic this year. It is on Sat. the 15th 11:15 to 3 pm. I actually have that day off from work.

Are there any LSFers that are going to fish the fundraiser?

It says right on the rules you need a trout stamp, Im guessing they are releasing a tagged trout right before the event. ??? Anyone else find this odd lol...

If you call the number they will verify that you need it, they are releasing a trout from Wisc before the event. So how many entered thinking if they get a tagged "fish" as they say in the ads, they win a car ?

I thought the big prize was for a tagged walleye, which Bemidji has many of... I'm sick of tourney's releasing trout into lakes where they don't belong. I realize it's quick musky food, but c'mon....

I won't be fishing this event. Have to work.

I know they release some on Leech over 'pout fest, and I've seen it at other smaller derby's too.

Seems odd, to release a trout, make everyone buy a trout stamp??
