Mille Lacs is still way up and so is the Rum. I can't say excactly how far up but I will say about a good foot or so on the Rum, about the same as Mille Lacs.

Two weekends ago it was high and last week it finally came down but it started going back up on friday. I've always struggled on the rum in high water. I think it's easier to find a bite on the miss or croix in high water.

The rum has been rising and falling alot since spring and the current has been too fast since opener, starting to get frustrating. Now the river is so low that you might hit bottom with your prop in some areas.

Made it out tonight for a couple hours only managed three in the 14-15" range, river is almost at its regular height now, current is still strong.

Regular height for spring levels? It's high water unless the water doesn't come up much in anoka.
