Fishing in the area remains awesome! The sunnies and crappies are going nuts right now. Crappies are all relating to deeper basins suspending 10-15 feet off bottom. Gills are holding in the deeper water as well holding tight to bottom with the more active fish just off bottom. The water temps are really chilly and falling more and more with the cool night we have been having lately. Temps are ranging from 47-49 degrees. The fish have been loving the Lindy Fatboys tipped with your favorite plastic. Although today I thought I would switch things up and try a Lindy RattlíN flyer spoon tipped with a minnow head and this worked just as well and fishes very nice vertically. Donít have much for a Walleye report but the bite is going strong from what I hear, fishing bigger minnows on some of the mid lake structure. All in all the bite is awesome and will get even better before ice up! Get out in the boat one last time before the lakes lock up with ice!

Thanks for the great report! It would be a blast to get out and get some of those active pannies this time of the year! It's gonna be early ice for me this year....no free weekends with the bowhunting.

Thunder they are crushing it on the fall. Once I get down to the school I slow the spoon down some, and then game on!

Fished tonight for Walleyes and found a bunch of active fish in 36 FOW. We fished a 1/4 oz Lindy Jig tipped with a good size Rainbow and the Walleyes couldn't pass it up! Ended the night with 7 eyes biggest was 23 (not pictured). Water temp was 49 degrees the whole time we where there. Active jigging was key!
