I can't wait to make some cinnamon schnapps for the fishing trip to LOTW in 2 weeks.

Does anyone know what the proof is with the recipe? I guess I should figure that out before I drink a whole liter.

It depends on what proof everclear you use. MN stuff is 151 but surrounding states is higher.

I went to Wisconsin and bought the higher octane but I have used both and they are both great. No matter what proof you decide to use, I suggest you sip and NEVER drink a whole liter of this stuff. IMHO...........Kirk

This may have been mentioned already, but does the schnapps need to be stored in glass or will plastic work? Will the plastic affect the taste?

Thought I would give this a bump as I looked for the recipe yesterday and made my first batch of the season.
