Thanks for the tips. I'll grab a couple of jigging and trolling rods for the trip. When trolling, are you looking for suspended fish or are you fishing the close to the bottom? I'm wondering if I need to bring the lead core rods.

When trolling I've been concentrating on cabbage beds and sandy flats working the 7-12 foot depths.

You could bring leadcore, as there are a lot of fish out deep right now as well. It's a little tougher going with less fish being caught, but the size of the deeper fish can be worth it.

If it were me I'd leave the leadcore at home, and vertical jig the deeper fish if you want to try them out. Rig redtails or bigger rainbows out deep too, it's been getting a few fish.
