End of the season - Roads?

Hey folk -
Just wondering - with walleye season done and with all this snow we are getting does anyone maintain the access roads any longer?
I was thinking of coming up this weekend but not if I can't drive out on the lake.

Anyone catching any perch? Crappie?

I would say its a pretty safe bet that as of now pretty much all resorts have abandoned there roads and a majority of them have there access points closed to vehicles other then atvs and sleds.

Looks like red door pulled their bridge a couple days ago, and coned off the access. Hunter Winfields or chapmans may still have an access open, after this snowfall, I would make a phone before I made the drive.

Terry's was open last weekend and still had plowed roads all the way out to 7, 8, mile and seguchie we were out for tulibee and got on them but could not get them to go graphed a lot but only caught 2 if we could get rid of some of this snow cover I think it would be game on!

I think some of the south side resorts like Lybacks and Chapmans will keep roads maintained to a certain degree for a little while yet. I will be up there in a wekk and a half and can give you better information then.

The following was just posted on Hunter's Point Facebook page:

"We got about 10" of snow up here so we pulled our bridges. Just snowmobiling for the rest of the year and after todays snow it will be good conditions. Liberty just south of us is having there annual perch tournament."

Very understandable. It takes several hundred $$ a day to keep an ice road open and safe 24/7. The traffic, even on the weekends at this time of year, in most cases and conditions, makes no sense.
