Had to brag a little bit...
Last year we took 2nd in ribs in this tourney.
This year we improved a bit.
sold $350 worth of ribs and chicken too.
Our chicken came in 3rd again.

Something to be very proud of Blacksmith!!!Congratulation!! I have never entered a contest yet.. Maybe this coming year when I get my smoker on wheels. Lot's of competition out there with great masters of the grill and smoker. good luck.

Its spare ribs for us this evening,I am doing them naked,NO rub NO sauce just salt and pepper with a few dips for them once their done.Made baked alaska for desert.That came from watching a Alaska show and somehow baked alaska came up!

Made a couple racks today. Did the 2,2,1 thing. Turned out awesome. Also threw on a few NY strips I had thawed for Sat. But company showed up for 🍻's

Been way too long for this thread to get a bump, over a year!!!.....I know ribs will be on the menu for 4th!

What's everyone got lined up....any new sauces? I am always a fan of Carolina Mustard BBQ, we tried a blueberry sauce a few years back that was actually really good
