Any guesses or hopes for Lake Bemidji ice out date. Im guessing May 7th and hoping late april but for that we need some hot days in future!!

I have said May 7th for Winnie as well but at times I am wondering if that shouldnt be what I hope it is at the rate we are going

For Bemidji my new thoughts are May 10th. Going to be a big storm on the 10th and when everybody wakes up the lake will be clear

June 1st u are back in Bemidji? As u look at the forcast may 7th probably wont happen nor will the opener. Ill have to tow to rainy or big stone. Everyone else too upset at the weather to put a date? I agree.

May 18..... I see that the lake will be getting more snowfall to insulate the thick ice this weekend.
Lake Superior trout fishing is looking like the best option for catching fish around opener. Southern potholes for any great walleye action, might just be the best game around.
What a winter that just won't end!
