Hey guys. Im looking for recommendations for resorts on leech. Trying to plan a trip for 6-8 guys. We usually go to mille lacs but have decided to mix it up this year. We will have boats but are interested in a launch service so everyone can relax and fish one evening. With not having to worry about running a boat. Does anyone offer that service on leech? Trip will most likley be end of august or sept. Thanks for any info or tips.

I would recommend Agency Bay lodge. They are a good place to fish from, close to lots of good spots. We have been staying there the last 5 years.

If it were me I think I would stay at Chase on the Lake. It is walking distance to everything and you could book a launch with Stuarts at the city dock at (218)547-1662. I believe Tonga's run out of Federal dam too but I don't know much about it.

There are a number of great spots, it just depends on what you are looking for in a resort. I've recommended Huddles, Red Wing and Horseshoe Bay to people in the past and they haven't been disappointed.

jfricke - my vote would go to Chase on the Lake all the way. However, there are many awesome local resorts on Leech that will cater to your needs. Check out the link Mike posted, tons of information there!

I really like Chase on the Lake. Stayed there a couple times and plan on going back this year.

Have stayed at a couple of the Anderson Resorts, most recently the cove. Have always had good cabins and good service. Heading back there in August with the family.

Sugar point resort. And then you could head up to the federal dam and get a launch trip out of tongas
