Got into the gills again tonight, they were still fairly shallow 8-14 FOW. Caught a lot of small fish earlier in the evening, but once the sun hit the trees the big ones started . The fish were hungry, many of them meeting the jig 4-5 feet off bottom. There was alot of drifted snow by shore, just made it out with the pickup. Most of the bigger fish were caught on lindys rattlin flyer and watsit. Also caught a few fish on scud bug and lindy toad. The bass biting tonight also, my brother was able to catch one on the watsit and I caught one on the scud bug, and lost one right at the hole. The fish are still biting and with good ice a guy might as well take advantage.
