Tonight my brother and I went out to try for some Gills. We set up in about 5-10 FOW and the gills were hitting very light.Ended up catching about 15 gills all night. We didn't catch any with size, they were all small. My brother however did end up catching 5 walleyes, smallest being 16 inches and biggest 24. All 5 fish were caught out of the same hole in 5 FOW and all were on a black watsit jig. I ended up cautching a nice largemouth on a white scud bug. Travel is still a problem aroung the shore lines. Tonight there was still a solid 24-28 inches of ice with about 2 inches of snow on top. If the ice isn't off the lake by opener i know were i will be.
