One of my favorite quick and easy recipies is adding a packet of Lipton French Onion soup mix to the burgers. 1 packet is good for about 4lbs of burgers.

This one is a classic thunder! Delicious. Another old trick is to baste the burger with A-1 after flipping in the home stretch of the cooking process. FIRE UP THE GRILL!

Another good one is a nice medium rare burger topped with fine diced fresh jalapeno and cream cheese. Fantastic! I have so many it's tough to pick a favorite. I also like to top a burger with Canadian bacon, swiss, bacon, BBQ sauce and crispy fried thin sliced homemade onion rings. I think the real key to making any burger great, just don't cook it over medium!

A true classic indeed!

Tasty and simple. I pretty much grew up eating them this way.

My wife does not like them this way, so therefore we don't make them this way. Oh well.

Awesome thread, that is, unless your on a diet.

Best thing I ever added to any burger on the grill was franks red hot. Make any one of the burgers in this thread and top them with a tablespoon of franks when you put them on the grill. Fantastic! Adds just a little kick(or a lot if you want more and add more then one spoonful). My kids even ask for it now.
