I like to mix blue cheese crumbles in the the burger and then grill them.

Butter and toast the buns on the grill, too.

Top with crispy bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a small amount of A1 sauce.

My favorite burger!

Grillin weather to be sure,finally!

Fired up the smoker yesterday, kansas ribs and turkey legs with pecan wood, gotta love the smell as she smokes~

Now this thread has me thinking its time for a burger throw down...

Give this a whirl~

Ground chuck,
one egg per lb,
bread crumbs,
ground italian sausage,
chopped onions,
season to taste, bbq sauce is a great add~

This recipe makes some over sized juicy burgers, layer some chesse between two skinny patties and have a juicy lucy.

Patty'em up and put the feed bag on~

ps- mix meats 50/50

Here is a good one for those who rate heat in food like the buffalo wing places. This recipe calls for 2 cups of chopped or diced seeded jalapeno peppers but that would be at the high end of the heat dial. You can scale it down to your own level with the peppers. Here is all you need:

2 cups of chopped jalapeno peppers seeded [or less for the whimps]
2 8 oz packs of cream cheese
2 pounds of 80/20 ground chuck
good burger buns

take the chopped peppers and mix it with the softened cheese well. Make your patties thinner than normal [about a 1/4 inch or so]. Scoop some of the mix in the center of the patty and then put another patty on top of that patty and squeeze the edges of the patty to seal it. When you put it on the grill don't squeeze the patty or the mix will oooze out of the edges..I sometimes put some of the mix on top of the burger as well when done if I have any left. Usualy top with extra mix or ketchup and mustard, bacon, lettuce and tomato. have some beer handy. good luck.

Great ideas for burger! Don't forget the bun. A great bun and make or break a burger. I prefer a fresh bakery bun.

Right on.
Fresh bakery bun here also or an onion bun. Toasted. Thin slice of ghost pepper cheese on top of that medium done beef with mayo, onion, tomato, lettuce.

Also a fan of the turkey burger, bison burger, anything ending in BURGER.

My favorite of all time...
Grilled 1/3 pound patty
Top with fresh pico de gallo
Give it a good shot of franks
Melt 1 slice cheddar and 1 slice pepper jack over the top of the pico
Serve on a nice bakery bun that's lightly toasted with lettuce, tomato, and red onion

Enjoy!
