Just curios how people are traveling with there wheelhouses in regards to weather your keeping your cables tight or letting all the weight sit on the pins. I just bought a new IC RV edition and I'm getting pumped for the season. First wheelhouse I've owned. It seems like it would be a lot of weight sitting on those pins. But on the other hand I don't think you'd want tension on those cables for travel either. It could prematurely wear out the cables. Any input would be gladly appreciated.

I bought my Ice Castle 3 years ago and the dealer told me to let the weight sit on the pins. They are hardened steel. Have not had a problem. Enjoy your new rig.

Pins only and always. Cables will never support that weight/abuse. They aren't made to.

Back cables way off and let it ride on the pins. Tight cables can either snap oryour going to bend/break the arm the cable loops through. Trust me on that one!
