It may be the homer in me, but I don't see anyone beating the Wild in the west. Maybe the ducks.

I am picking the Tampa bay lightning beating the Wild in 6 games for the cup.

Pick your pony.

I agree that we can beat any team in the west. But also the ducks do scare me. As far as east I'm going with rangers

You must have a great mind, because we think alike.

The thing that will be fun to see is if any of the additions this season can help our physicality when playing st. Louis. They beat the hell out of the blackhawks last year but the Hawks were just too talented. We've faired well against st. Louis as of late, so I'm really optimistic. Should be a great series to watch!

Maybe I'm just let down too much as a MN sports fan, but I have this terrible feeling the Wild are going to be all or nothing this year. Either they lose against the Blues in the first round or they win the whole thing. My pessimism in MN sports is getting the better of me and I feel like they are going to lose in the first round. I really really hope not though.

If the wild don't win it, my next pick is the Ducks.

I have zero confidence. They going nowhere. 2 or 3 playoff wins will be meaningless, just like always.

I'm hoping they can ride their hot streak at least into a series win over the black hawks. i'll be happy at that point. Seriously though, they have been the hottest team down the stretch and against a lot of play off teams too. Lots of times going with the hottest team has been a good bet

A hot goalie can carry a team a long way..... I'm hoping ours will. He has certainly lit a little fire under our butts.
