Just curious on everyone's thoughts last night? Here's mine.

I thought the Wild looked good. It was a little scary in the 1st, STL was dominating the puck control, however our defense was doing a good job. I was a little concerned with he second goal Dubs let in, looked pretty soft to me. I was pumped to see Nino whoopin some ass at the end of the 2nd period. We need him, Coyle, Brodziak and Stewy to be physical, god knows the Blues are going to try to out physical us.

Also I think it is a joke what Backes and Ott did at the end of the game. If the NHL was any sort of league at all both those jackasses would be suspended for game 2. Make it hurt, the NHL needs to step up and protect its players. Taking a run at a player 1 second after the puck drops to deliberately try to hurt them is a joke. The NHL needs to clean up its sport. I just can't stand hearing players complain about "player safety" then the next minute try to kill someone purposely. Being physical with in the game is one thing, being cheap and dirty is a total different deal.

If the NHL doesn't suspend PK Subban for a deliberate tomahawk slash that fractured a wrist, Backes and Ott should not be punished at all.

I can't believe Subban got away with that for only a 5 minute major and game misconduct.

The Wild definitely took their foot off the gas after the first empty netter. It looked like the Wild were on the PK instead of the PP.

Might be a good thing that it happened so the realize they have to play all 60 in the playoffs.

After last nights win, bovada has MN Wild a heavy favorite to win series. Before the game yesterday it was STL Blues -175 series price.

Wild played a pretty darn good 2nd period, let's see if they can hold off the Blues in the 3rd. Parise has had a very good game tonight, we need him to play at this level. The Blues are a bunch of thugs out there, especially Ott taking a swing at Dumba on the bench. Go Wild!

1st string has been great to this point. Keep the foot on the gas through the 3rd and we should be up 2-1 with another game at home. Great to see the effort!

Great game wild. Solid defense all 3 periods. Blues = classless.

Let's take this series in 5!

Awesome game, Blues couldn't get anything going. They actually tried to play hockey in the third instead of just trying to rough us up,
but got completely out played by our wild!!

GO WILD!!
