Hey folks, have a friend that lost a 9yr choc lab about two weeks ago near Hudson wisc, very well behaved and sadly he didn't have his collar on,the family has carpeted the area near their home and through out the town of Hudson, just a long shot someone here might have herd about someone finding this pup.

I'm sure the family will pay a handsome reward if found~

No chip or tattoo, with this recent warm weather he would take off with his buddy (gsp rooster) and make his way home, rarely left his yard as a rule but spring is in the air.

As a dog owner its a tough loss,I remember losing my pup in a massive crp field bird hunting in Nebraska for a day, your heart just about stops.

Tough deal for sure.

Good reminder for all of us to make sure your dog is micro chipped and has a collar. My dog has pulled his tags off a number of times after getting them caught on something. Right now he's got a collar on so I can grab him if need be but doesn't have his tags attached, I do have him micro chipped though. I think the chip is like $30 so cheap insurance. Of course it only works if someone is honest enough to turn them in instead of keeping them.

Still hoping for the best, covered a lot of miles along hiways and rual roads to rule out him being hit by a car with no snow,we pretty much feel he's been picked up.
