First time boat owner, where to fish?

I had kayaks last year and half the fun of fishing was kayaking out and if you caught fish it was a bonus. Bought a boat this year with the purpose to catch fish and we are having troubles finding some lakes to go out to. We have primarily fished Pearl Lake. We had decent luck catching crappies in June but haven't had much success since. I don't care what we catch, crappies are always good eating, never had sunnies before, and would love catching walleyes too. To be honest we just enjoy catching too.

Pearl has been ok but slow at least for us. Any other tips to take our AlumaCraft Fisherman 160?
