Shipping a firearm question

Looks like I am going to need to send my pistol off to the manufacturer for service. Once the work is complete, can they ship it directly to me or is there some law that would require this to be handled through someone with a FFL? Thanks in advance for any input!

They can ship it directly to you, but you have to be there to sign for it when it arrives.
