Pretty slow migration of late,boyz taking part in north Dakota @goose fest tell me not one snow goose has been shot,odd for this time of year,now we have warm weather on the way....Seems every year the migration gets later and later.

This is really suckin'! Last weekend over MEA it was pretty bad for me. I only got 7 birds over 4 days!
Now I have tomorrow off with plans to get out for the weekend and this weather pattern is not helping! I'm going to have to pack a lot of gravel to find some birds I think. Or go fishing...

I live only about an hour from the boarder of Canada and we have had warm weather. 10 day forecast doesn't look be getting colder anytime soon. Reports in Canada say the birds are just basking in the flooded fields and have no reason to leave with the warm weather.

Yup,same message I got fish22,hopefully we won't geta freak cold spell up north with a ton of snow to make the birds jump the border and do a fly over the Dakotas,have a sodak waterfowl license burning a hole in my pocket.

Slim pickins still,my neighbors that hunt dang near every day here in the northeast metro said the lull continues,they managed a few divers,bills and ringnecks and even scratched out 1 loan scoter last week which is really rare in the midwest.
