This is another reason this forum is dying! Guy post about "RIPLEY REPORTS" and his thread gets hijacked about wolves. I don't care for wolves as much as the next guy, but I do enjoy reading hunting reports.

lol ? the water wolves probably the best reason there are so few eye's in the dead sea or maybe it could be the gators second in line?? lol it could not be the net's or the dnr nor the lack of human involvement! !! " IT'S GOTTA BE THE MUSHSKIE'S " !

Lets gets this back on track, we were talking about Ripley and the deer population. Clearly the muskie are actually eating the deer. Its common knowledge that a muskie can eat upwards of 7 adult deer each day. I think if you look back you'll find a shocking correlation between increased musky stocking efforts and the decline of the deer population.
whine or wine? nature is boss! nature is rough! nature is not always fair! nature has its own rules that should be left alone and not interfered with by trying to rule it for profit! hunters are the best source of information ! desk setters are just that "know it all and do nothing but what's good for the dollars bottom line"! if you really want a good example of deer population loss. lets look at automobile collisions with deer as an added example to the problem??? now say it don't exist? lol WOLVE'S DO!!

Not first hand but have a few buddies there and yesterday they were seeing deer. I know one passed on an eight and the other saw a shooter but couldn't get a shot at it.
