Ouch that hurts!
Area 157 saw 8. Half small bucks half does and fawns. May not seem to bad but compared to few years ago when we would see 20+ a day it sure is. Worst part is first deer I saw in the morning was the biggest we had on camera all year that's wasn't a shooter.... Dad saw only 2 and sister saw 5.

So is it too warm for the deer to be moving or ? I'd think with the mild winters we have had the past 2 - 3 years, the deer population would be on the rise and people would see more even if they are not shooting.
Can't be wolves because we've been told they aren't a problem.

178 - One doe while going out to the stand for the afternoon sit. She was feeding at 2pm on the trail, I didn't see anything else for the rest of the night. The cold snap at the end of the week should have them up and moving around, plus that is the rutting moon.

In 227 this morning witness a spike and a fork square off for 15 minutes. Then walk off together.

241 in park rapids. Jack squat all weekend for us. Heard some shooting but very localized to the first hour of daylight.

Area 159 and got this one at noon. Saw one other buck. Deer were moving all day. Four others hunting near me saw over a dozen deer that morning with three bucks. All the bucks were nose to the ground looking for love.
