And 4 (2 big does and 2 yearlings) this morning, I shot the biggest one out of the group. Nice 120lber. Got her hung and skun and just getting ready to cut her up. Mmm deer for dinner.

We were in 197 and got 3 bucks for 3 guys all shot saturday. Biggest was a 8 point, then a 6 and a spike. We all saw a few does also. I was dropping our deer off in Emily today to get processed and a guy pulled in with a monster 17 pointer. Wish I would've snapped a pic of that thing.

Ouch that hurts!
Area 157 saw 8. Half small bucks half does and fawns. May not seem to bad but compared to few years ago when we would see 20+ a day it sure is. Worst part is first deer I saw in the morning was the biggest we had on camera all year that's wasn't a shooter.... Dad saw only 2 and sister saw 5.

We live in a crappy county thats all. Buddy hunted up by bemidji and saw over 40 the first day. We cant we have that around here?

Area 156 shot a 6 pointer and seen 1 doe. Hunting was very slow not much sign of scrapes or rubs in our area. going back up Friday to see if we can get the boy's a deer which is the 1st year for one and 3rd year for the other. Always fun!

Crestliner - we're not far away in 183. No one saw a deer. Not much shooting either. There aren't many deer around there as it is, but with the hot weather nothing was moving.

We are in 172, 2 deer for a group of 4 people. 1 was a fork and the other was a really nice big 6 pointer my wife put down. Both deer came mid afternoon, will say if even half of the does that we have been seeing get bred and make it through the winter we are going to have a huge deer population by us.

Its been bad here in Kanabec county for a number of years though. There are pockets here there that have deer but, over all it sucks around here.
