3.5" ice on Sat. Not much snow on Sunday.

There were several portables out on the lake and other area lakes.

I'm waiting for Xmas week, since I have to draw down the vacation account.

Might be enough for the Chicken to WALK out from Rush Resort by then!!

I was out Saturday night. Only from 3 - 7. I set up on 13' near a few structures. 7" of ice. I was able to get some 8.5" crappies on the ice.

There were several areas of slush. I was on foot but there were sleds and atvs out there.

This was my first outing for the year. It was great to be on the ice! The walk back in in -4 temps was chilling.

Is there much snow on the lake? I fished South Center and South lindstrom saturday and pulling through 5 inches of snow and slush was not fun. Should have gone further north.

Thanks. Maybe it will compact down with the warmer weather this week. Will not be making much ice until the snow melts.

Yep the houses are out. I got mine placed Sat am about 10 am. Just dropped and left. Came back Sunday to get it set up. First time Perm house owner here so I am excited but need to learn the finer details. Met a few of the "neighbors".

18' with 15" ice. Did very well. White tungsten jig with red larva was best. It was only slightly better than a wax worm.

Remember to leave nothing important in it on either of the Rush lakes.
