Does anyone have any tips on Tonka walleyes? I am limited in the amount of time I can fish out there and tend to struggle through the ice when I can get out. If anyone is willing to help it would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to PM if you would like.
Fished out of spring park bay this evening and was my first time on Minnetonka. Not much happening, but there was a good 6-8" of ice. Does anyone know the best way to get out to horseshoe reef or diamond reef? I have to walk and didn't look like there are public accesses near. Thanks!

When life gets too complex, too confusing, too absurd and your freedom has been reduced to only tiny fragments throughout a single day; then you know it's time to go fishing.
Not an expert by any means. My two best tips would be stick close to the weedline and be out fishing during the sunset hour. I bet I have caught 90% of my eyes during that timeframe. More have come on the set line than jigging, but I had a nice one come up and smack my buckshot a couple of nights ago.
I was shocked to see so many trucks on the east side of Wayzata Bay given that nobody drove more than a 4-wheeler out of the area west of the Boatworks. Is there really that much more ice on the east side? I also saw a lot of trucks and some permanents out on Carson's Bay.
