Asking for help in finding our very special stolen fish house- it was taken from our cabin on Briggs Lake in Central MN on Thursday, 12/15. It is a 12 x 6.5 custom built house, unique with 3 jacks to raise and lower it so there are no winch cables. It has a built in aluminum ramp on the back which can be seen in the picture. Also unique is an A/C unit (in pic on right) on the right front built into the V. Any help that you could provide would be appreciated. Please send a message or contact the Sherburne County Sheriff’s office. My dad built this wonderful fish house and passed away a year ago. This was his last project and his pride and joy. We just want it back so that his Minnesotan grandchildren can keep his fishing legacy going!.... Also inside the fish house was ALL things ice fishing. 3 portable fish houses including a red/black Eskimo 149 hub blind fat fish pop up shelter, a forest green Eskimo quick fish 2 man sled with bench seat, and a black and white camouflage pop up IN THE BOX! The auger is an 8" Jif propane auger with a one foot extension. There was also an Elite 4X fish finder, dozens of rods, spider wire soft sided black tackle box and 2 buddy heaters. These things may also find their way to be sold. Please let someone know if you hear or see of anyone with this stuff too. Thanks a million!
THANK YOU for keeping an eye out. We are so bummed about it. How do I get it more exposure on here? Not sure how to move it to general... I know this is the right place to ask for help. There are so many ice fishing people on here.
I would assume if it's being used it has been painted by now. Look close at the jack set-up as that and the ramp might be the only thing you can recognize. Not being a ice guy I'll ask if this was a manufactured house that was finished on the inside by the buyer? If so, will there be a serial number somewhere on the frame? My guess is it's sitting with-in 30 miles on a small lake with all the stuff from the inside stripped to be sold. As much as everybody would like to pound the POS who stole this call the cops, let them deal with it. Nice thing is if caught I think it would be felony theft due to the value.
