Tuesday report. 4 of us kept 12 walleye, 2 pout, and 4 perch. Released probably 10 small fish. Dead stick with red hook took most of fish. Pink and gold clam rattle spoon worked good too. Fishing was much slower than yesterday. We had 1 real good hour when the fish turned on. Fished from dawn to dark. Fished same spot as yesterday.

Looking forward to getting up there! We're renting a couple sleeper houses next week Monday thru Thursday. Kinda hoping they have us over hard bottom but if the mud is where the bite is, that's good too.

Anybody pulling in some jumbos or slimers?

Looks like the weather will be fantastic! Hope the fishing is the same!

Wednesday's report. This was our last day in the sleeper. Fishing was descent. 4 of us probably caught 15 walleye and a few perch by 2. Fish were really hitting good when we had to pick up and leave. Best bite was between 10 am until dark the last 3 days. Northland forage minnow in glow red worked good today. Also caught some on a 1/8 oz pink and gold clam spoon, they wouldn't hit the same thing in 1/4 oz.

Tried targeting perch with little 1/10 oz pimples and did catch one but the walleye hit those good too. Chrome with green and chrome with yellow stripes. Tipped them with a minnow head. The other spoons we tipped with a whole small minnow or a minnow head depending how the fish moods changed.

Fishing with electronics really helped as the walleye were any where between 12 and 28 feet deep. The ones higher up in the water column bit good.

This was our first trip fishing out of a sleeper and we had a blast. I highly recommend Arnesen's.

High suspended walleyes...I love it! Get those to move thru & it's almost a guarantee you'll get one or two. Thanks for the report!
