I was out of Nitti's on the first break. In 30' of water and the walleyes were there all day/evening. All in the 15-18" range. Had the camera down and never saw a perch - which is different than other years. It reminded me a little of the later years when Red didn't allow you to keep walleyes. Lots of them and they were generally aggressive.

You will catch fish at prime time on any reasonable structure right now. There are good numbers of fish and they are biting. I wouldn't go all the way to the flats, but to some it holds "magical properties".....
