Im looking to sell mine to buy a helix (already have a humminbird lakemaster chip so i might as well use it) let me know if you need a new one

In all seriousness though i hope everything works out

This may be what pushes me to the Marcum LX-7. However like you I see the value of one head unit for summer and winter.

They said it is possibly a degraded transducer. They won't know if it is that or a head unit issue till they do a full diag on it.

So $70 to buy a new not from Humminbird ducer, or $176 to send it in.

So again if anyone is willing to meet up to let me connect their ducer that would be great.

I work Sat. for sure. Hopefully not Sunday, or only a half day. If you don't find anyone else, I'll try to make the run to RUSH. I'm assuming the testing period will take a couple hours of quality diagnostics (fishing)..

Awsome! I will be on East in the perm all weekend. I will be there til Monday. Tallest perm in front of Rush Lake resort. I will also have a US Flag flying high. Beverage and food supplies are available for strenuous diagnostics.

I will pm you my number as well.

Firstly thanks to JohnnyM and Sourssinth for offering to help.

The bird never acted up this weekend. I used it Sat. - Monday and it never needed the gain to max. It was on 8 the whole time.

Got to fish with JohnnyM and nice to chat with you again Sourasinth.

So was it a bad battery? If so then was my trolling motor also to weak? Doesn't make sense.

Having some of the same issues with my 45. Just does not work like it did. Battery not that old. Thinking a new transducer is what I need. Anybody know where I can find one? Cannot get one until late February thru humminbird
