When i was up there on NYE, we drove our Avalanche out onto the main lake. I was told Walker bay at that time only had 8 inches. I read yesterday on a resorts website they have 20 inches on main lake now. Places to avoid and what not i do not know, just telling you what i DO know

Trucks are driving all over. Keep an eye out for heaves on the big lake though.

I'm heading up this weekend. Reports from resorts are safe roads all over. Hoping the snow isn't too bad off the road so I can pull my wheel house with just a keep Cherokee and not get stuck... going to slap on some tire chains to help, have a buddy and a nice shovel, try to avoid drifts, and hope for the best.

Come onnnnnn Walleye!
