Which jigs have been producing best results?

I have made it up to the skid house 4-5 weekends this year. We will be heading up again Thursday night. We are finding that the set lines are out-producing the jig lines by quite a margin. Curious as to what jigs people are having the best luck with. This is my first year on Mille Lacs with a house. Have been on Red the previous 6 years. Up there rattlin flyers and buckshot rattle spoons seemed to produce best. I have not been having much luck with them on Mille Lacs

Just a heads up, i don't know what access you're out of. But Red Door is suggesting all skid houses get off the ice before the warm up, if only to avoid dragging the house through the dirt instead of the snow.

Thanks for the heads up. I was a little concerned also but when I checked with the resort I go out of, they were not concerned. I saw Lybacks also posted they were not concerned noting that it would still get below freezing both nights

Gold or brass flutter type jigs have done good for me most trips. Have had success on the perch/chart lindy rattling flyer too.

Deadsticks have been key on a couple trips.

As simple as you can get. Silver, black or red hook on mono with a small slip bobber. Oh, and appropriate size split shot so bobber is floating correctly.

I have heard others using glow green or pink hooks with success.

I have used shiners and fatheads and have not noticed a considerable difference.

This has been our most consistent deadstick presentation. Not neccasarily the hottest every weekend, but has always produced.
