Fished on 3 mile on Saturday evening, and wow, can't complain about the weather. Ice was good, sky was orange, and the weather was warm, so without a bite, I would've been happy. We caught most everything on set lines, but got a few bites on a rip n rap and a few on a drop shot shiner. The biggest of the day, below, hit on a sucker minnow. My friend that grabbed it is obviously excited. Props to my friend Marcus for his biggest walleye ever. Every bite we got was 14 feet or shallower.

I was out of hunters point fishing the rocks Saturday as well. I managed 4 fish. One on a chubby darter and the rest on a clown rattlin flyer. Two of the 4 actually pinned the jig to the floor as I would get them to come up and they would lose interest I'd hit the floor and stir it up and would have nothing but weight when I lifted up. I donated a pink charmer to the zebra mussels doing this unfortunately. I did mark fish consistently from 5:00 - 7:00 but tough to get them to go. I had fish chasing me up like crappies as I would drop the flyer down. They would come off the floor and race up 3' - 5' off the bottom and stall on it and slowly work their way back down. Should have tried some other colors but I was happy to be out enjoying such a great day.
