Heading up Thursday morning and was wondering some of the ice road conditions/ availability up there. 1/2 ton pulling a 17'rv castle. We were planning on heading out of Dale's but they're closed for maintenance until further notice. Any info would be greatly appreciated as scouring the web reports hasn't provided much info. Thanks

Have you tried calling Cyrus, Adrian's, or Zipple? They have really good roads for wheelhouses, in my opinion.

Was out last Saturday and Adrian's road was getting really rough. Plan on 1.5 - 2 hours to get out the 16 miles if towing a wheelhouse. IMO not worth it for the fishing up there right now. Morris Point road was better, but does not get deep enough.

Cyrus is closed to wheel houses they are out 14 miles from when you cross the island.

Important Ice Road Update:

Due to the recent weather and rain we have shut down our ice road to all wheelhouses until further notice.

Vehicle travel is still allowed, but absolutely no wheelhouses. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We will keep you posted on when we will be opening the road back up to wheelhouses.

Thank you and good luck!

Thanks for the info, I guess we'll see what the weather does to the roads today, supposed to cool down tonight so maybe conditions will improve..fingers crossed. There are plenty of bars up there if a guy has to wait it out!

Fished 22&23. Off Adrian's,road was real bad. Moved over to Morris 23&24. Road was way better it went out about 5 miles. Fish were small but had fun. Both Morris and Adrian's roads are better as of yesterday.
