Fishing Friday evening was sunny and beautiful, Saturday started ok but got cold and the wind started blowing in the afternoon and Sunday we had snow on the ground. Saturday was pretty miserable out on the river and didn't even think about fishing Sunday.

Other than the crazy weather, fishing was awesome. Had some nice fish both fri and sat, managed one over 20 lbs both days.

I think it is going to go from great to pause. Water temp is already down 3 degrees since yesterday and looking at the forecast I think it will be down 4 or 5 more at least. The fish won't go anywhere with the flow we have and you can still catch fish but it is going to slow cold and miserable to do it. From my perspective this is not a bad thing as it will get the good bite going when clients start coming in.

This is why I don't book trips before May.

Really enjoying it so far, as well as the new Humminbird.

The boat was pretty filthy after Saturday, needed a good hose down, but all the slim, mud and junk was all frozen up! haha
