Good the hear the multiple great reports. What kind of baits and presentations were you guys using? I normally only chase smallies when I'm out there, but with the great reports I may have to try for some walleyes.

For us, casting and slowly working parrot and watermelon fireball jigs with fatheads cleaned house. We ran out pretty quickly and had to make a run back to Tutts for more. The same jig with shiners did well too.

My little guy bobber fished with leeches and it produced too.

Great opener for us also. Caught 40 walleyes on Saturday, mostly lindy rigging with leeches. Also caught some on bobbers in the evening. We were on the NE side and with the east wind I think it made it a little "tougher". Sunday we couldn't find the fish early but ended up getting them out deeper, 21-25 ft also rigging with leeches

Said it before, going to say it again.

Please keep Numbers of fish to yourself.

Unless of course you WANT the season shut down for Hooking Mortality again.

I couldn't agree more! The more of these reports "they" read, the quicker they will shut it down to make sure that casino money keeps coming into their reelection funds!

40 fish without breaking a sweat. And I'm no pro, nicest piece of equipment I had on the rig was a bluetooth speaker playing some honky tonk.

Don't be shy about your numbers. I see it differently. Have fun!
