How was fishing for opener? Were coming up there over memorial day weekend and I could use an idea of where the fish might be....water temps? We're hoping they will be shallow and aggressive. Walleyes. Smallies. And crappies

Crappies are going good in Black Bay! Walleyes will be shallow and relating to newly emerging weed growth in 2 to 5 feet of water. Good Luck!

Weather reports for Crane Lake show long stretches of precipitation chance, very mild wind speed, and overcast skies for much of the holiday weekend. Looks like I'falls is similar, but with faster wind.

I believe water temps are in the mid 50's, maybe approaching 60?

I could do without the rain and chance of thunderstorms especially since we are camping but cloudy and lighter winds is perfect for me and I like the water temps!
