Giving a good, detailed fishing report on a fishing report website....ya that's so weird!

Try looking at this point of view Stabber.... would if someone posted about this area you frequented 10-15 years ago. Every time you went out there you maybe saw 4 or 5 boats. Now you see 10, 20, 40 boats raking in those crappies every time you go. I understand you are too old to get down there but I'm sure your not the only one fishing there that liked the peace and quiet and quality fish you had for the last 15 years. But whatever I never fished it so I don't really care too much

This is very strange. Very good, but very strange. I would feel like I'm walking into some creepy man-trap going there now. But I read 16" crappies.... Worth the risk

There would never be 40 boats there. It's a private lake...only 1 parking area that can only hold about 4-8 vehicles depending on how people park.

Back Stabber: Thank you for the info. Because Pickerel Lake does border a road does that make it legal to fish it? I could see having someone drop me and my kayak off for a few hours. I don't want to break any laws.
And, parking behind the sign at Long Lake, between the two houses, are the homeowners okay with that? If everyone is hostile it won't be very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing the info. I catch and release and would just enjoy catching fish.
