My First Mille Lacs trip...BIG Walleyes!

Finally made the trip up north to the big pond. My first fish of the day was a 27 inch walleye. What a treat! I for sure will be back. Enjoy!

Great fish and for the first one a 27 incher will spoil you haha. Great to see you had a good time on the Big Pond. I might get up that way first week of July, I am still crossing my fingers I get to fish that great lake soon. Thanks for letting us know how the fishing was...........Kirk

Nice fish I'm glad you got a chance to see what this lake is all about. On a side note fishing well after dark right now would be breaking the law if targeting eyes no bait or lures under 8 inch allowed in boat after 10 pm. I have never seen as many people break laws as I have this year on mille lacs. I even went out of my way to try and help someone in bad whether that looked like they were having trouble to be told to mind my own business when I pulled up on them and wasn't who they thought I was. And the locals bitch about the metro folk there are a bunch of locals that dont really care about the lake either.
