If prevention programs dont work, why does Wisconsin have around twice as many zm infested lakes as MN? Sometimes you need to spend millions to save billions. That is why the leaders in TX, AK, MT, ID, UT and WY have invested in prevention programs and have enacted very stiff fines for violators. You haul a boat into ID with zebra mussels and blow by the checkpoint you get fined up to $10,000. It has happened. They have not had much for AIS issues there... Taking a trip out west can really show a person what patriotism looks like.

My feelings are not hurt. The DNR is going to continue to ramp up their war on AIS.If lakes are gated or closed so be it. I know this is not what you want to hear but it will happen.c63
