Hi I got the new tatula sv tw reel for lighter lures with a Abu venerate 7 fot med rod. I plan on using this exclusively for wacky rigging 85% of the time and small jigs with plastics 15% of the time I generally use #15 power pro with a flouro leader. would you use this or go all flouro my concern is castability. Thanks for your input

if you go straight flouro...you can try line conditioner to help combat the "spring".
with that said, i use a 6 ft flouro leader attached to braid on my wacky setup

let me know how you like the tatula. ive been eyeing one but havent pulled the trigger. im not too familiar with the t-wing and mag force brake system. it seems like theres a special way to adjust them.

So far I love it you definitely can cast smaller lures better. I have the CT and the type R The type R is a little lighter but I see no real difference between the 2. I had Abu revos before in my opinion they are junk you set them and they never stay you constantly adjust all day. just my 2 cents Love the Daiwa reels And Abu rods.

Nice. i agree with you on the revos. i have a gen 3 revo stx and was thinking of switching to the CT for my frogging setup. i might have to pull the trigger. sounds like a great reel for around $100
