Plan on fishing the Canada side up towards royal island and may try the tug channel area ...any thoughts

Was up there once shortly after labor day one year, but we never found any numbers, just one here and there in the tug channel and north of it. Very cool area, it's a fun run thru the tug channel and the french narrows.

Didn't find any crappies but spent little time looking. Heard that west side of Falcon ( big area ) was a good place to try.Trolled for Muskies instead

We go every year, coming up for us shortly. Fish Ontario waters, points, 20 to 35 ft deep, vertical and search, very rewarding when you find them.

30 fow look for suspended fish/bait pods..........I've had really good luck trolling LARGE flutter spoons in the fall for crappies.....especially where shiners are present!I'm always surprised when a panfish takes a swipe at a 6 inch spoon sometimes almost as long as the fish!!!!Good luck at LOW!!c63
