So I've got this weekend free with a total green light to head out of town and fish. I was supposed to head up to red lake, but it looks like the weather may not cooperate with us up north. So, where would you go? Red is a good 5 hour drive from the cities, so I'm open to anything up to about 5 hours away, but I've never fished south or even really west. So, where would you go to avoid all the rain?

Yes, I know we can fish in the rain, but if I can find a decent walleye lake out of it, I will.
